Where We’re Based
We are based in Cedar Technology Centre, Atlantic St Altrincham, Greater Manchester, WA14 5DZ UK. All repairs are carried out in our workshop here, and all parcels are sent to and from this location.
Postage Options
We have always had a positive relationship with the post office, so our recommendation is to take your boxed item there for posting.
Please Note: Glass and certain delicate ceramic items may not be covered by courier insurance, so we advise using protective packaging
Return postage costs will be discussed during booking but unless specifically requested basic postage without additional insurance will be offered. If you item needs insurance cover please search for a courier that will cover your item before posting, some do, some don’t.
Sending Your Items to Us
- Wrap your ceramic item securely using bubble wrap and sturdy packaging.
- Include your contact details.
- Send to our address in Altrincham (provided when booking).
Collection & Drop-Off
If you’re local, you can arrange a drop-off appointment at our workshop. This helps save on postage costs and reduces the risk of damage during transit.
Postage Tips for Fragile Ceramics
- Double Box Method: Wrap your ceramic in bubble wrap, place in a snug inner box, then put that box inside a larger box with padding between.
- Avoid Empty Spaces: Use packing peanuts, crumpled paper, or foam to prevent movement inside the box.
- Wrap Handles & Protruding Parts Individually: These are the most vulnerable spots.
- Label Clearly: Use “FRAGILE” & “THIS WAY UP” labels for extra care.
- No Newspaper: It flattens easily and loses cushioning effect.
- Seal Well: Use strong parcel tape on all edges, not just the top flap.
- Insure Your Parcel: Always choose a postage option with adequate cover.
Please Note: Please if you are sending through the regular post without insurance like most of our customers please ensure you pack your item well, we will not accept any responsibility for postal damage. When it comes time for your item to be sent back, please let us know if there is a specific courier you would prefer or insurance product. If no mention is made we will send the item back through regular post – signed for – where possible.
